LATIN MUSIC OFFICIAL: AWARDS 2018, conosciuti anche come LMIA nascono nel 2012 assieme al portale italiano Latin Music Official la più grande community italiana dedicata alla musica latinoamericana.
I premi vengono assegnati tramite votazioni via web, in cui in cui gli utenti possono votare i loro artisti preferiti per la candidatura e successivamente decretare il vincitore della categoria. Nel corso degli anni gli LMIA hanno saputo non solo conquistare il consenso del pubblico, degli artisti ma anche dei media (blog, radio, tv, giornali) nazionali ed internazionali, diventando l’evento più atteso e virale sul web.
